AMIT ENABLES ISRAEL'S YOUTH TO REALIZE THEIR POTENTIAL AND STRENGTHEN ISRAELI SOCIETY BY EDUCATING AND NURTURING CHILDREN FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS WITHIN A FRAMEWORK OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, JEWISH VALUES AND ZIONIST IDEALS. FOUNDED IN 1925, AMIT OPERATES 110 SCHOOLS, YOUTH VILLAGES, SURROGATE FAMILY RESIDENCES AND OTHER PROGRAMS IN 33 CITIES, CONSTITUTING ISRAEL'S ONLY GOVERNMENT-RECOGNIZED NETWORK OF RELIGIOUS JEWISH EDUCATION INCORPORATING ACADEMIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL STUDIES. - ISRAEL'S MINISTRY OF EDUCATION NAMED AMIT THE NUMBER 1 EDUCATIONAL NETWORK FOR THE PAST FIVE YEARS! - 44,000 STUDENTS FROM DIVERSE POPULATIONS IN 33 CITIES; 70% IN THE SOCIOLOGY/ECONOMIC AND GEOGRAPHIC PERIPHERY OF THE COUNTRY. - 92% BAGRUT DIPLOMA RATE COMPARED WITH NATIONAL AVERAGE OF 79%. - 21% OF STUDENTS TAKE 5 POINT PHYSICS. - AT-RISK STUDENTS WHO ATTEND JUNIOR COLLEGES - 383 - AMIT LAUNCHES NETWORK-WIDE HYBRID GOGYA PLATFORM TO ALLOW FOR GREATER OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL STUDENTS, AND HAS 6,000 STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM, WITH OVER 130 COURSES OFFERED. - 10,000 STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN AMIT'S UNIQUE ECOSYSTEM PROGRAM FOR REAL-WORLD EXPOSURE AND RELEVANT LEARNING. - OVER 50 GOGYA SPACES EXIST ACROSS THE NETWORK, AND 7 NEW AND INNOVATIVE SCHOOL BUILDINGS ARE BEING DEVELOPED. - 1,400 TEACHERS TAKE PART IN 22 SUBJECT-BASED, NETWORK-WIDE PROFESSIONAL TEACHER COMMUNITIES.
