OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATION AND HOLISTIC WELLBEING OF CHILDREN IN NEED.

IN 2023, WORLDWIDE ORPHANS FOUNDATION WORKED WITH 23,815 CHILDREN AND THE ADULTS AROUND THEM ACROSS BULGARIA, HAITI, ETHIOPIA, UKRAINE, UNITED STATES AND VIETNAM. THE BIGGEST GAINS SEEN FROM CHILDREN ACCESSING OUR SIGNATURE ELEMENT OF PLAY PROGRAM ARE IN THE DOMAINS OF EARLY NUMERACY, EARLY LITERACY AND EXECUTIVE FUNCTION SKILLS. UNDERSTANDING THAT CHILDREN LIVING IN OR AFFECTED BY WAR HAVE A SIGNIFICANT INTERRUPTION IN THEIR GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT, WE ALSO LOOKED AT BEHAVIORS IN YOUNG CHILDREN WITHIN UKRAINE. IN PARTICULAR, FOR CHILDREN ACCESSING ELEMENT OF PLAY, THERE WAS A 52% IMPROVEMENT IN CHILDREN'S FEAR RESPONSES, WITH THE BIGGEST SHIFT IN CHILDREN FEELING LESS STRONG FEELINGS IN THEIR BODY AND THEY WERE BETTER ABLE TO CONCENTRATE.
