SEE SCHEDULE O:A. THE GRADUATE CENTER RECEIVED A $9.5 MILLION GIFT FROM THE JAMES AND CATHLEEN STONE FOUNDATION. THE MULTI YEAR GIFT WILL SUPPORT THE STONE CENTERS WORK, WITH A SIGNIFICANT PORTION DESIGNATED FOR THE CENTERFS GC WEALTH PROJECT, AIMED AT EXPANDING ACCESS TO RESEARCH AND DATA ON THE INCREASING WEALTH ACCUMULATION THAT IS OF GROWING CONCERN IN THE UNITED STATES AND IN OTHER COUNTRIES. THE GIFT WILL ALSO ALLOW THE STONE CENTER TO EXPAND ITS POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLARS PROGRAM BY RECRUITING TWO NEW POSTDOCS EACH YEAR DURING THE NEXT FIVE YEARS, FOR A TOTAL OF 10 ADDITIONAL POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLARS.B. THE ANDREW W. MELLON FOUNDATION AWARDED $530,000 GRANT FOR THE SOCIAL PRACTICE PROJECT AT CUNY. PROJECT. THIS PROJECT WILL CREATE A NEW GENERATION OF CULTURAL LEADERS IN NYC WHO ARE DIVERSE AND COMMITTED TO BRINGING SOCIAL CHANGE THROUGH ART, DRAWING ON THE STRENGTHS OF CUNY'S INTERDISCIPLINARY MFA PROGRAMS BASED AT THE GRADUATE CENTER.C. THE GRADUATE CENTER RECEIVED A $300,000 GRANT FROM THE JAMES FAMILYCHARITABLE FOUNDATION TO CONTINUE THE ART AND SCIENCE CONNECT PROJECT. THE ART AND SCIENCE PROJECT IS AN INITIATIVE THAT COMBINES PUBLIC PROGRAMS EDUCATION, CROSS DISCIPLINARY RESEARCH AND TEACHING AND STUDENT FELLOWSHIPS TO EXPLORE THE OVERLAP BETWEEN ART AND BRAIN SCIENCE.
