LOUIS ARMSTRONG EMERGENCY FUND FOR JAZZ MUSICIANS: IN APRIL 2020, THE FUND BEGAN MAKING GRANTS TO FREELANCE JAZZ MUSICIANS THAT WERE NEGATIVELY IMPACTED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2021, THE FOUNDATION ISSUED A TOTAL OF 330,000 OF GRANTS TO OVER 500 MUSICIANS IN NEED.
