1.THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A LEGAL DEFENSE PLAN THAT OFFERS MEMBERS LEGAL REPRESENTATION FOR NON-CRIMINAL SITUATIONS THAT ARE RELATED TO THEIR EMPLOYMENT AS FEDERAL AGENTS. THIS REPRESENTATION IS FREE OF CHARGE TO ALL ELIGIBLE MEMBERS. 2. THE ORGANIZATION PUBLISHES A PROFESSIONAL JOURNAL SIX TIMES A YEAR THAT SERVES TO KEEP THE MEMBERSHIP APPRISED OF PROPOSED CHANGES IN GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS AND FEDERAL LAWS THAT WILL IMPACT THEM AS FEDERAL AGENTS. IT ALSO PROMOTES A SENSE OF CAMARADERIE BY REPORTING THE HAPPENINGS OF EACH OF THE LOCAL CHAPTERS. 3. THE ORGANIZATION WORKS FOR LEGISLATION TO BENEFIT THE FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNITY. ADDITIONAL, IT SERVES AS A WATCHDOG, INFORMING MEMBERS OF ANY PROPOSED LEGISLATION OR CHANGES TO EXISTING LEGISLATION THAT ADVERSELY AFFECTS FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT. THE ORGANIZATION CONSISTS OF OVER 22,000 MEMBERS. EVERY 18 MONTHS, THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS A NATIONAL CONFERENCE WHERE THE ORGANIZATIONS THREE PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS ABOVE ARE DISCUSSED AND VOTED ON BY MEMBER REPRESENTATIVES.
