THE ORGANIZATION PRODUCES AND MAINTAINS AN EDUCATIONAL, COMMERCIAL-FREE INTERACTIVE WEB SITE THAT IS USED BY APPROXIMATELY 10 MILLION PARTICIPANTS FROM OVER 140 COUNTRIES ANNUALLY. IT PROVIDES INSPIRATION AND PROMOTES CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION WITH TRUE STORIES OF HEROIC INDIVIDUALS FROM AROUND THE WORLD. THE WEBSITE IS A CHILD-FRIENDLY RESOURCE OF HOPE FOR EDUCATORS AND PEOPLE OF ALL AGES.THE PROGRAM'S PRIMARY GOALS ARE TO:1- EDUCATE AND INSPIRE BY HIGHLIGHTING HEROES AROUND THE WORLD;2- ENCOURAGE YOUNG PEOPLE TO IDENTIFY AND DEVELOP POSITIVE ROLE MODELS;3- BUILD PARTICIPANTS' COMMUNICATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY SKILLS4- FACILITATE BOTH INDEPENDENT AND COLLABORATIVE PROJECT-BASED LEARNING.
