THE OLD SAYBROOK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS A NON-PROFIT MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION ADVANCING THE ECONOMIC VITALITY AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE OLD SAYBROOK REGION THROUGH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR ITS MEMBERS AND COMMUNITY.

THE OLD SAYBROOK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HAS APPROXIMATELY 425 MEMBERS. COVID-19 CAUSED THE POSTPONEMENT OF SOME COMMUNITY EVENTS SPONSORED BY THE CHAMBER, INCLUDING THE CHILI FEST. THE 58TH ANNUAL ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL WAS THE FIRST IN-PERSON EVENT WITH AN ESTIMATED 8,000 ATTENDEES. THE CHAMBER HELD A VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON ROAD RACE AND A GOLF TOURNAMENT IN 2021. WE ALSO HOSTED MANY VIRTUAL MEETINGS TO ALLOW MEMBERS TO NETWORK AND SHARE IDEAS ON MANAGING THROUGH THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. THE ORGANIZATION PRODUCED A TOURIST GUIDE AND DISTRIBUTED 18,000 COPIES.
