OUTREACH AND MEMBERSHIP - OMNIAIR'S MEMBERS ARE FROM PRIVATE COMPANIES, DEVICE MANUFACTURERS, RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS, INDEPENDENT TEST LABS, ACADEMICS, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. OMNIAIR BRINGS PEOPLE AND COMPANIES TOGETHER TO ENABLE THE NATIONAL DEPLOYMENT OF EFFECTIVE, STANDARDS-COMPLIANT, INTEROPERABLE CONNECTED VEHICLE TECHNOLOGIES THAT DRAMATICALLY IMPROVE THE SAFETY, MOBILITY AND EFFICIENCY OF HIGHWAY TRANSPORTATION. OMNIAIR PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND PRESENTATIONS FOR ITS MEMBERS THROUGH THE VARIOUS EVENTS AS WELL AS ONLINE AND PRINTED RESOURCE MATERIALS.

OMNIAIR PLUGFESTS BRING TOGETHER LEADING DEVICE MANUFACTURERS, CHIPSET PROVIDERS, TEST LABORATORIES AND TEST EQUIPMENT PROVIDERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD FOR A WEEK-LONG TESTING EVENT. PLUGFESTS OFFER CONFORMANCE, INTEROPERABILITY, SECURITY, AND FIELD TESTING FOR DEVICES TO HELP DETERMINE DEVICE READINESS FOR CERTIFICATION. IN ADDITION TO TESTING, OMNIAIR PLUGFESTS INCLUDES A ONE-DAY POLICY WORKSHOP, ALLOWING ATTENDEES TO HEAR FROM INDUSTRY, GOVERNMENT, AND ACADEMIC EXPERTS ON CONNECTED VEHICLE TECHNOLOGIES.
