THE ORGANIZATION FOCUSES ON RESEARCH, WRITING AND EDUCATION ON ISSUES HAVING TO DO WITH CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, SOCIAL SCIENCE RESEARCH ON PUBLIC OPINION ON NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ISSUES, LEADERSHIP AND PROBLEM SOLVING. ALSO, WATER POLICIES AND RENEWABLE ENERGY CONTINUE TO BE AREAS OF RESEARCH AND WRITING. TO ACCOMPLISH THESE OBJECTIVES, IN ADDITION TO OTHER OPERATING COSTS, THE ORGANIZATION MADE GRANTS TO 12 ORGANIZATIONS.
