UNIVERSITY GIVING THE SWINERTON FOUNDATION HAS MADE A COMMITMENT TO SUPPORT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS AT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. OUR INVOLVEMENT WITH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS CENTERS AROUND SUPPORT FOR THEIR ACADEMIC PROGRAMS AND STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST YOUNG STUDENTS.
ADOPT-A-SCHOOL PROGRAM THROUGH THE ADOPT-A-SCHOOL PROGRAM WE AIM TO IMPROVE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IN UNDERSERVED SCHOOLS. SWINERTON VOLUNTEERS WORK WITH TEACHERS AND EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS TO DEVELOP LESSONS THAT SUPPLEMENT THEIR CORE CURRICULUM, WHILE OFFERING HANDS-ON LEARNING EXPERIENCES. CONTINUED TO DEVELOP OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH SKILLSUSA AND ADOPTED SEVEN ADDITIONAL SCHOOLS. CURRENT SCHOOLS THAT WE SUPPORT INCLUDE: PIERCE COUNTY SKILLS CENTER IN PUYALLUP, WA; ST. HELENS HIGH SCHOOL IN ST. COMMUNITY BUILDING PROGRAM THE SWINERTON FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH LOCAL NON-PROFITS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE-BY GIVING OPPORTUNITIES TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO ACCESS HOMEOWNERSHIP AND BY PREVENTING DISPLACEMENT FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT AFFORD HOME REPAIRS.
