BARRE OPERA HOUSE IS A HISTORICAL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, PRIMARILY SERVING RESIDENTS IN CENTRAL VERMONT. WE ARE CURRENTLY IN THE SECOND YEAR OF A MAJOR CAPITAL CAMPAIGN TO RENOVATE OUR THEATER AND DESIGN/CONSTRUCTION WORK CONTINUES. DUE TO COVID-19, WE HAVE CANCELLED MANY OF OUR PROGRAMS FOR THIS YEAR. OUR FINANCIAL RESULTS THEREFORE REFLECT THE SUBSTANTIAL LOSS OF REVENUE FROM SHOWS. OFFSETTING THIS IN PART ARE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN AND SIGNIFICANT COVID-RELATED FUNDING STREAMS.
