PROVIDE SAFE, ADEQUATE, AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR LOW-INCOME RESIDENTS OF DALLAS COUNTY, IOWA. THE ORGANIZATION AWARDS TO ELIBIBLE HOUSEHOLDS WITH INCOMES LESS THAN 80% OF THE AREA MEDIAN INCOME 5-YEAR FORGIVABLE LOANS FOR MAINTENANCE OF THEIR HOME. ELIGIBLE PROPERTY TYPES INCLUDE SINGLE FAMILY DWELLINGS, BUT DOES NOT INCLUDE MOBILE HOMES, HOMES BEING PURCHASED ON CONTRACT, DUPLEXES OR RENTAL UNITS. THE HOUSE MUST BE THE PRIMARY RESIDENCE OF THE APPLICANT. THERE WERE 14 RECIPIENTS OF THESE LOANS IN THE FISCAL YEAR.
