ISSA RALEIGH IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR CYBERSECURITY PROFESSIONALS.WE SERVE AS A FORUM FOR EDUCATION, NETWORKING AND COLLABORATION FOR CYBERSECURITY PROFESSIONALS AND PROVIDE CYBERSECRITY TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES WHILE PROMOTING CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS ACROSS THE COMMUNITY.

ORGANIZED AND FACILITATED TRIANGLE INFOSECON, WHICH IS THE LARGEST ANNUAL INFORMATION SECURITY CONFERENCE IN THE RALEIGH NC AREA. 1500 PEOPLE WERE IN ATTENDANCE.
MONTHLY CHAPTER MEETINGS WHICH INCLUDED NETWORKING, PRESENTATIONS, AND INDUSTRY LEADER SPEAKERS. THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THE PRESENTATIONS INCLUDED NON-TECHNICAL (LEADERSHIP, COMPLIANCE, METRICS, SECURITY AWARENESS) AND TECHNICAL ISSUES. CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION CREDITS WERE OFFERED.
TRAINING WAS HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, WHICH INCLUDED CERTIFICATION PREP CLASSES, AND TECHNICAL TRAINING ACROSS A VARIETY OF SUBJECT MATTERS PROVIDED BY INDUSTRY SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS.
