GIRLS ON THE RUN OF SILICON VALLEY (GOTRSV) IS A LIFE CHANGING AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR 8-14 YEAR OLD GIRLS. OUR GOAL IS TO EDUCATE AND PREPARE GIRLS FOR A LIFETIME OF SELF RESPECT AND HEALTHY LIVING. GIRLS MEET IN SMALL TEAMS TWICE WEEKLY FOR TEN WEEKS. THROUGH OUR LESSONS, GIRLS ARE EMPOWERED WITH GREATER SELF AWARENESS, A SENSE OF ACHIEVEMENT AND A FOUNDATION IN TEAM BUILDING TO HELP THEM BECOME STRONG, SELF CONFIDENT WOMEN WHO EMBRACE THEIR OWN UNIQUE QUALITIES. WE SERVE GIRLS FROM ALL INCOME LEVELS, BACKGROUNDS AND ATHLETIC ABILITIES AND PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO ALL PARTICIPANTS IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. GIRLS ON THE RUN OF SILICON VALLEY SERVED 1,332 GIRLS, WITH 95 TEAMS, IN FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023.
