MISSION:

WE HELD OUR PROGRAM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONSCIOUSNESS WITH AN AVERAGE OF 134 PARTICIPANTS DURING THE YEAR. THIS LARGE GROUP FOCUSED ON CREATING COHERENCE, GAINING A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF MAHARISHI VEDIC SCIENCE, AND HELPING SUPPORT WORLD PEACE PROFESSIONALS AROUND THE WORLD.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the organizations concerned with civil society, philanthropy, and the nonprofit sector who seek to promote the practice of charitable giving and voluntarism through a variety of strategies including advocacy, disclosure, information exchange, and research. THE PARKERSBURG YMCA IS A CHARITABLE COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZATION THAT INCLUDES MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN OF ALL AGES, ABILITIES, INCOME, RACES, AND RELIGIONS. WE ARE DEDICATED TO BUILDING STRONG KIDS, STRONG FAMILIES, AND STRONG COMMUNITIES BY PUTTING CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES INTO PRACTICE THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE HEALTH LIFESTYLES, STRONG VALUES, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY INTERACTION, AND INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING. ALL PERSONS ARE WELCOME AT OUR YMCA, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY. OUR YMCA IS FOUNDED AND LED BY VOLUNTEERS FROM OUR COMMUNITY. VOLUNTEERS ALSO SERVE AS MENTORS, COACHES, PROGRAM LEADERS, INSTRUCTORS AND MORE.

THE MISSION OF FAITH CHRISTIAN ACADEMY IS TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY ACADEMIC AND BIBLICAL WORLD-VIEW TRAINING IN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT ENCOURAGES SPIRITUAL, ACADEMIC, SOCIAL, AND PHYSICAL GROWTH.
