MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

MISSION:

TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE HISTORIC OGDEN UNION STATION AND ITS FOUR MUSEUMS: THE UTAH STATE RAILROAD MUSEUM, THE JOHN M BROWNING FIREARMS MUSEUM, THE BROWNING-KIMBALL CAR MUSEUM AND THE COWBOY MUSEUM.

MISSION:

TO HEAL AND EDUCATE SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, TO BRING AWARENESS AND EDUCATION TO THE PUBLIC REGARDING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND HOW MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC CAN PROVIDE SAFE AND PRODUCTIVE HELP TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SUPPORT OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE DIRECT SERVICES TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide in-person or telephone assistance for people who are in acute emotional distress; who are a danger to themselves or to others; who are having suicidal feelings; or who are hysterical, frightened or otherwise unable to cope with a problem that requires immediate action.

WE WILL DO THIS BY: SPREADING THE WORD ABOUT UTAHS CLEAN SLATE LAW TO INDIVIDUALS WITH RECORDS, SO THEY ARE AWARE OF THE LAW AND ITS POSITIVE IMPACT ON THEIR LIVES; PROVIDING INFORMATION ABOUT THE LAW AND LINKS TO FREE AND LOW COST LEGAL RESOURCES TO ASSIST INDIVIDUALS WHO NEED TO GO THROUGH THE PETITION-BASED EXPUNGEMENT PROCESS OR OBTAIN A PARDON; RAISING MONEY TO HELP COVER THE COST OF GOVERNMENT FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE LEGAL EXPUNGEMENT PROCESS; HELPING ELIGIBLE INDIVIDUALS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE LAW TO ACCESS GREATER OPPORTUNITIES; ELEVATING THE VOICES AND STORIES OF DIRECTLY IMPACTED PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES.

GREAT SALT LAKE AUDUBON, A CHAPTER OF THE NATIONAL AUDUBON SOCIETY, WAS FOUNDED IN 1912 AND IS THE OLDEST CONSERVATION ORGANIZATION IN UTAH. THIS VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION STRIVES TO MEET ITS MISSION THROUGH VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, SEMINARS, EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIPS, HABITAT RESTORATION AND INFORMATIVE GENERAL MEETINGS WITH GUEST PRESENTERS. WE ALSO SUPPORT STATE AND LOCAL CONSERVATION EFFORTS. GREAT SALT LAKE AUDUBON IS DEDICATED TO PROTECTING AND ENHANCING HABITAT FOR WILD BIRDS, ANIMALS AND PLANTS, AND TO MAINTAINING HEALTHY AND DIVERSE ENVIRONMENTS FOR WILDLIFE AND PEOPLE THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

TO PROMOTE THE ENJOYMENT AND INVOLVEMENT IN THE GAME OF GOLF AND TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE GROWTH OF THE GOLF PROFESSIONAL AND THE GOLF INDUSTRY. THE UTAH SECTION WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS MISSION BY ENHANCING THE SKILLS OF GOLF PROFESSIONALS AND THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR AMATEURS, MANUFACTURERS, AND GENERAL PUBLIC. AS A RESULT, THE UTAH SECTION WILL ELEVATE THE STANDARDS OF THE PROFESSIONAL GOLFERS' VOCATION, STIMULATE INTEREST IN THE GAME OF GOLF AND PROMOTE THE OVERALL VITALITY OF THE GAME.

BIG GAME FOREVER PROVIDES AMERICAN BIG GAME AND LIVESTOCK PROTECTION. THE ORGANIZATION FOCUSES ON MAKING THE PUBLIC AWARE OF THE DAMAGES THAT ARE BEING INFLICTED ON BIG GAME HERDS. IT ALSO ACTIVELY SOLICITS SUPPORT FOR LOCAL OVERSIGHT OF BIG GAME AND LEGISLATIVE PROTECTION.
