The goal of this organization are the private foundations whose grant funds are derived primarily from the contributions of a profit-making business organization.

THE AKRON DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION WAS ORGANIZED TO SUPPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES IN THE CITY OF AKRON, PARTICULARLY THROUGH A PROGRAM WITH THE FORMER AKRON GLOBAL BUSINESS ACCELERATOR, AND TO SECURE STATE OF OHIO FINANCING FUNDING FOR TECHNOLOGY-BASED BUSINESSES.

IMAGINE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY PARTNERS WITH PARENTS AND GUARDIANS IN THE EDUCATION OF THEIR CHILDREN BY PROVIDING HIGH QULITY SHCOOLS THAT PREPARE STUDENTS FOR LIVES OF LEADERSHIP, ACCOMPLISHMENT, AND EXEMPLARY CHARACTER.

TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES THROUGH JOB CREATION.
