BLICK CLINIC, INC. (DBA THE BLICK CENTER) ESTABLISHED IN 1969, IS A PRIVATE, NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY AGENCY SERVING PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY, MENTAL HEALTH AND SUD CONDITIONS. BLICK CLINIC, INC. PROVIDES OUTPATIENT, CLINICAL, DAY PROGRAMS AND RESIDENTIAL SERVICES. MORE THAN 70 CLINICAL AND SUPPORT STAFF AND MORE THAN 120 RESIDENTIAL SERVICE STAFF WORK WITH 1,500 PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AT THE CLINIC, SCHOOL DISTRICTS, VARIOUS WORK SITES AND IN HOMES.

TO BENEFIT THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON WITH RESPECT TO MANAGEMENT OF ITS INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND ADMINISTRATION OF CERTAIN RESEARCH ACTIVITIES. TO PROMOTE COMMERCIALIZATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide support services to patients and their families. Programs can include social and recreational activities for people who are recovering from surgery or a serious illnesses; supportive services for children who are ill and for their families which enable family members to remain with a child who is hospitalized; family and sibling support groups, and programs which attempt to make a gravely or terminally ill child’s final days, weeks and months more pleasant. OHIO & ERIE CANALWAY COALITION SEEKS TO PRESERVE, INTERPRET, AND DEVELOP THE NATURAL, HISTORICAL, AND RECREATIONAL RESOURCES ALONG THE OHIO & ERIE CANALS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS. THEY ALSO WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS TO BUILD THE 101-MILE TOWPATH TRAIL.
