THE FOUNDATION SEEKS TO EASE THE EMOTIONAL STRESS, PHYSICAL DISCOMFORT, AND HEAVY BURDENS THAT CONFRONT CANCER VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WITH LIVING EXPENSES. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO APPROXIMATELY 5,000 INDIVIDUALS IN 2021.


THE FOUNDATION FUNDS AND EXECUTES SOCIAL PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AFFECTED BY CANCER, INCLUDING ART AND HORSE CAMPS, BACK TO SCHOOL ASSISTANCE AND POLAR EXPRESS TRAIN RIDES. THE FOUNDATION'S PROGRAMS SERVED APPROXIMATELY 425 INDIVIDUALS IN 2021.


THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES TOTE BAGS CONTAINING VARIOUS COMFORT ITEMS, CALLED SUNSHINE BAGS, TO NEWLY DIAGNOSED CANCER PATIENTS THROUGH AREA HOSPITALS. APPROXIMATELY 650 SUNSHINE BAGS WERE DISTRIBUTED IN 2021.
