AS PROFESSIONAL DANCERS, THEIR PURPOSE IS TO PRESERVE MEXICAN CULTURE, VALIDATE IT AS A CULTURAL AND ARTISTIC EXPRESSION OF THE LATINO PEOPLE IN THE AMERICAN SOUTHWEST, AND CREATE AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION FOR IT THROUGH LIVE PERFORMANCE.
