LACER AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM - THROUGH OUR PARTNER LACER LITERACY, ARTS, CULTURE, EDUCATION, RECREATION AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FREE PROGRAMS AT EIGHT PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN CALIFORNIA ANNUAL TEEN SUMMER CAMP - OUR STUDENTS ENJOY A TRANSFORMATIVE WEEK-LONG EXPERIENCE ROOTED IN PRACTICING MINDFULNESS, LEARNING MEDITATION, AND CULTIVATING COMPASSION, ALONG WITH THE USUAL FUN ACTIVITIES LIKE HIKING, GAMES, CRAFTS, MUSIC MAKING, AND MOVIE NIGHTS. OUR ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP TAKES PLACE IN PEACEFUL, NATURAL SETTINGS, IN THE MOUNTAINS OF TEHACHAPI OR BIG BEAR, CALIFORNIA OUTSIDE OF LOS ANGELES.
