FORESIGHT AFFORDABLE HOUSING OF MARYLAND, INC. WAS ORGINIALLY FORMED TO BE A PROVIDER OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR A 207 UNIT COMMUNITY THROUGH FUNDING FROM THE LOW INCOME HOUSING PRESERVATION AND RESIDENT HOMEOWNERSHIP ACT OF 1990. THE ASSET WAS SOLD ON JANUARY 13, 2015.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

MISSION:

ADVOCATE IN THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM FOR THE BEST INTEREST OF VICTIMS OF ABUSE AND NEGLECT IN FOSTER CARE, GIVING THE CHILD A VOICE IN COURT AND MOVING THE CHILD TO A SAFE AND PERMANENT HOME.
