MISSION:

FAR AWAY FRIENDS EXISTS TO EQUIP YOUTH WITH THE TOOLS TO BREAK CYCLES OF POVERTY FOREVER. OUR WORK IS PRIMARILY FOCUSED IN THE RURAL AMOLATAR DISTRICT OF NORTH-CENTRAL UGANDA WHERE WE OPERATE OUR MODEL SCHOOL GLOBAL LEADERS DAY & BOARDING PRIMARY SCHOOL EDUCATE 250 STUDENTS TRAIN TEACHERS AND EMPLOY 25 UGANDAN STAFF. ADDITIONALLY WE RUN A SCHOOL OUTREACH PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES MENSTURAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT TOOLS AND EMPOWERMENT TRAININGS TO GIRLS AT OUR NETWORK PARTNER SCHOOLS ACROSS AMOLATAR DISTRICT.

A SERVICE ASSOCIATION OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL LEADERS UNITED WORLDWIDE WHO CONDUCT HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS, ENCOURAGE HIGH ETHICAL STANDARDS IN ALL VOCATIONS, AND WORK TOWARD WORLD UNDERSTANDING AND PEACE.
