The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. IDSA IS DEDICATED TO EDUCATING AND INFORMING THE GENERAL PUBLIC, INCLUDING BUSINESSES, REGARDING THE IMPORTANCE AND VIABILITY OF AN IDENTITY-CENTRIC APPROACH TO CYBER SECURITY. AS A COMPONENT OF SUCH EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, IDSA WILL RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE SPECIFIC SECURITY CHALLENGES THAT MAY BE ADDRESSED THROUGH IDENTITY-CENTRIC SECURITY APPROACHES. IDSA WILL ALSO CREATE AND DISTRIBUTE VENDOR-NEUTRAL IMPLEMENTATION GUIDANCE FOR IDENTITY-CENTRIC SECURITY.
