OUR MISSION IS TO WORK WITH LANDOWNERS AND COMMUNITIES TO CONSERVE THE LANDS WE LOVE, NOW AND FOREVER, AND TO ENRICH CONNECTIONS TO THE NATURAL WORLD.

MISSION:

THE ASSOCIATION IS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROTECTING THE PUBLIC BY ADVANCING THE SCIENCES AND ART OF LAND SURVEYING AND RELATED FIELDS BY REQUIRING MEMBERS TO ADOPT AND ADHERE TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF ETHICAL AND PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS AND SEMINARS AND A NEWSLETTER PUBLISHED QUARTERLY TO KEEP MEMBERS INFORMED AND PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS.

MISSION:

TO ENGAGE IN A TRUST FOR LAND THAT PROMOTES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF THE STATE OF KANSAS THE ACQUISITION, PRESERVATION, CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT OF EASEMENTS AND RELATED LAND AREAS AS SCENIC, SCIENTIFIC, EDUCATIONAL, HISTORIC AND ECOLOGICAL RESOURCES THAT ENCOURAGE THE WISE USE AND PRESERVATION OF NATURAL AREAS, PRAIRIE AND AGRICULTURAL LAND, WETLANDS, WILDLIFE HABITAT AND OPEN SPACES WHICH CONTRIBUTE TO THE CHARACTER OF THE STATE OF KANSAS.

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect endangered land resources from indiscriminate development, destruction or decay and which manage the utilization of renewable and nonrenewable resources to ensure ongoing availability. Included are conservation of the nations forests, rangeland, vegetation, deserts, wild and scenic rivers and other wilderness areas and open land spaces; and reestablishment of areas that have been devastated by destructive activities such as strip mining or other destructive activities.

THE LBOLA IS DEDICATED TO THE PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION OF OPEN SPACES AND NATURAL AREAS IN AND AROUND THE VILLAGE OF LAKE BLUFF, ILLINOIS. WE WORK ON VILLAGE, PARK DISTRICT AND OUR OWN PROPERTIES AND ON CONSERVATION EASEMENTS AROUND LAKE BLUFF.

ENVIRONMENTAL BASED EDUCATION PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO REINFORCE GEORGIAS PERFORMANCE STANDARDS IN SCIENCE, MATH, LANGUAGE SKILLS AND ARTS.

THE MISSION OF THE UPPER SAVANNAH LAND TRUST IS TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT CONSERVATION OF NATURAL AND SCENIC LANDS, FARMS, FORESTS, WATERWAYS, AND OPEN SPACES ON OUR EIGHT-COUNTY AREA: ABBEVILLE, ANDERSON, EDGEFIELD, GREENWOOD, LAURENS, MCCORMICK, NEWBERRY, AND SALUDA COUNTIES IN THE UPSTATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA.

TO PROMOTE THE PROTECTION AND STEWARDSHIP OF OPEN SPACE AND NATURAL RESOURCES IN THE TOWN OF WESTWOOD.

DEVELOP AND SUSTAIN A RECREATIONAL MULTI-USE TRAIL SYTEM IN CLARION COUNTY FOR PUBLIC USE.

TO ASSIT OTHER ORGANIZATIONS IN ADVANCING THE PUBLIC INTEREST BY PRESERVING, CONSERVING, MAINTAINING, RESTORING, INTERPRETING, PUBLICIZING, AND MAKING APPROPRIATE USES OF THE HISTORIC AND CULTURALLY SIGNIFICANT STRUCTURES AND LANDSCAPE OF THE APOSTLE ISLANDS REGION AND THIER ASSOCIATED HUMAN HISTORY.
