MISSION STATEMENT: CREATIVE FILMMAKERS ASSOCIATION (CFA) WAS INCORPORATED IN 1992 AS A NONPROFIT 501.C.3 PRODUCTION COMPANY DEDICATED TO PRODUCING THOUGHTFUL AND PROVOCATIVE MEDIA. CFA'S PRODUCTIONS HAVE AIRED ON PUBLIC TELEVISION AND NATIONAL CABLE, AND HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED INTERNATIONALLY TO THE EDUCATIONAL MARKET AND SHOWN THEATRICALLY IN THE US AND CANADA.

MISSION:

THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO ENRICH THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR YOUTHS (AGES 14 TO 20) BY PROMOTING AND GUIDING THE YOUTH THROUGH THE PROCESSES INVOLVED IN THE ART OF FILMMAKING AND OTHER ART FORMS.

MISSION:

LONG BOW GROUP, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH PRODUCES EDUCATIONAL MEDIA, PRIMARILY ABOUT CHINA, IN THE FORM OF DOCUMENTARY FILMS, VIDEOS, DVDS AND WEBSITES FOR USE IN UNIVERSITIES AND HIGH SCHOOLS AND ON PUBLIC TELEVISION.

The goal of this organization is to produce films, videos and holographic images for a variety of educational, documentary and cultural purposes, and/or promote public appreciation of film and video. Also included are organizations that encourage new, foreign and independent filmmakers through the organization and presentation of film expositions and festivals or which show old or difficult to obtain films in noncommercial facilities.

MISSION:

MISSION - PROJECT RECOVER IS A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT TO ENLIST 21ST-CENTURY SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN A QUEST TO FIND AND REPATRIATE AMERICANS MISSING IN ACTION SINCE WORLD WAR II, IN ORDER TO PROVIDE RECOGNITION AND CLOSURE FOR FAMILIES AND THE NATION.VISION - PROJECT RECOVERS VISION IS: (I) TO REPATRIATE EVERY AMERICAN SERVICE MEMBER WHO HAS NOT COME HOME THROUGH RESEARCH, SEARCHES, RECOVERIES AND OTHER METHODOLOGIES; (II) TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND CLOSURE TO THE FAMILIES OF SERVICE MEMBERS; (III) TO PROVIDE A PLATFORM TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE IMPORTANCE OF SERVICE TO ONES COUNTRY; AND (IV) TO PROVIDE UNIQUE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN THE AREAS OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, HISTORY, LEADERSHIP, PUBLIC SERVICE AND DIPLOMACY TO A COMMITTED STUDENT AUDIENCE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH PROJECT RECOVERS MISSION, IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A REAL-WORLD APPLICATION TO STUDENTS AND FURTHER EDUCATE THE PUBLIC.

WE PROMOTE THAT LITERACY IS POSSIBLE FOR ALL, THROUGH MULTIMEDIA ORAL HISTORY AND DOCUMENTARY PROJECTS THAT ARCHIVE AND SHARE STORIES OF LITERACY, EMPHASIZING THE ROLES OF LITERACY PROGRAMS IN SOCIAL JUSTICE MOVEMENTS THROUGHOUT THE AMERICAS.

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT OUR MISSION IN 2023 INCLUDED OUR INAUGURAL FOR US, BY US INCUBATION PROGRAM FOR UNDER-REPRESENTED COMMUNITIES, CONTINUATION OF OUR MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM, FISCAL SPONSORSHIP OF MORE THAN 55+ FILMS THAT FIT OUR MISSION, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS FOR FILMMAKERS, CONTINUED DISTRIBUTION OF OUR FILMS, AND SLIDING-SCALE CONSULTING TO HELP FILMMAKERS GET THEIR FILMS MADE.

THE SUN VALLEY FILM FESTIVAL'S (SVFF) MISSION IS TO DISCOVER, ENCOURAGE, AND PROMOTE THE WORK OF FILMMAKERS AND ARTISTS AND TO BRING THEIR FILMS TO THE CITIZENS AND VISITORS OF IDAHO. IN ADDITION, SVFF DRAWS ATTENTION TO SUN VALLEY, IDAHO AND TO ITS LONG TRADITION OF TOURISM AMONG HOLLYWOOD ACTORS AND ICONS.

FILMFORUM WAS INCORPORATED IN 1975 TO PROMOTE A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF FILM AS AN ART FORM. FILMFORUM ALSO PROMOTES THE FILMMAKER AS AN ARTIST BY PROVIDING A FORUM FOR INDEPENDENTLY PRODUCED, EXPERIMENTAL FILMS, WHICH HAVE LITTLE OPPORTUNITY OF REACHING THE GENERAL PUBLIC THROUGH NORMAL CHANNELS OF COMMERCIAL DISTRIBUTION.
