THE MISSION OF JPEF IS TO DEVELOP AND DISTRIBUTE EFFECTIVE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS ABOUT THE JEWISH PARTISANS AND THEIR LIFE LESSONS, BRINGING THE CELEBRATION OF HEROIC RESISTANCE AGAINST TYRANNY INTO EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS.

OUTREACH (TEACHER TRAINING AND COLLABORATION): JPEF CONDUCTED 12 TEACHER TRAINING INSTITUTES, REACHING MORE THAN 328 NEW EDUCATORS. THESE TEACHERS WILL REACH MORE THAN 63,000 STUDENTS IN THE NEXT THREE YEARS. JPEF ALSO MADE VIRTUAL VISITS TO FOUR CLASSROOMS REACHING ANOTHER 110 STUDENTS DIRECTLY.JPEF CONTINUED ENGAGING IN LONG-TERM COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER HOLOCAUST ORGANIZATIONS AND FOCUSED ON REENERGIZING AND STRENGTHENING EXISTING PARTNERSHIPS AFTER THE COVID PANDEMIC. JPEF CONTINUED WORKING CLOSELY WITH FACING HISTORY AND OURSELVES AND THE UNITED STATES HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL MUSEUM AND ALSO JOINED WITH FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY, THE HOLOCAUST CENTER FOR HUMANITY, AND THE JEWISH FOUNDATION FOR THE RIGHTEOUS IN PRESENTING JOINT WEB TRAINING WORKSHOPS WITH CONSTITUENTS. WITH ZOOM, JPEF WAS ALSO ABLE TO GIVE MANY COMMUNITY LECTURES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.
E-LEARNING AND WEBSITE: JPEF ADDED SIX NEW BIOGRAPHIES OF JEWISH PARTISANS TO ONE OF ITS WEBSITES AND CONTINUED TO PERFORM ROUTINE UPGRADES TO BOTH WEBSITES TO ENSURE ACCESSIBILITY OF ITS ONLINE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, FILMS, LESSON PLANS, AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO STUDENTS, EDUCATORS, AND CONSTITUENTS. 82,720 PEOPLE VISITED JPEFS WEBSITES FOR INFORMATION, WITH MORE THAN 49,365 VIEWING JPEFS FILMS AND PARTISAN INTERVIEWS.
HELD SUCCESSFUL PROGRAMS: JPEF HOSTED A SCREENING OF THE EDUCATIONAL HOLOCAUST FILM UPRISING FOR AN AUDIENCE OF MORE THAN 220 IN NOVEMBER. THE MOVIE ABOUT THE WARSAW GHETTO REVOLT WAS ATTENDED BY EDUCATORS, STUDENTS, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS WAS FOLLOWED BY A CONVERSATION WITH THE FILMS DIRECTOR AND WRITER, A NOTED HOLOCAUST SCHOLAR, AND CHILDREN OF SURVIVORS OF THE UPRISING. THE DISCUSSION WAS BROADCAST LIVE TO A WORLDWIDE AUDIENCE.
