THE FUND WAS ESTABLISHED TO "RECOVER" THE CONSTRUCTION MARKET LOST TO NON-UNION LABOR, AND TO PROMOTE THE BENEFITS OF UNIONIZED CONSTRUCTION TO DEVELOPERS, GOVERNMENT, OTHER CONTRACTORS, AND THE GENERAL COMMUNITY. MARKET RESEARCH, INVESTIGATIONS, MARKETING, POLITICAL ACTION AND PROMOTION OF HIGH-TECH IN THE STATE ARE SOME OF THE MANY MEANS USED TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL.
