NON-PROFIT TRADE ASSOCIATION THAT ACTIVELY PROMOTES THE INTERESTS OF HAWAII'S FOOD AND BEVERAGE RETAILERS AND SUPPLIERS THROUGH HIGHLY EFFECTIVE GOVERNMENT RELATIONS AND ADVOCACY, MEMBERS EDUCATION, INDUSTRY AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PRODUCE THE MADE IN HAWAII FESTIVAL TO PROMOTE HAWAII MADE PRODUCTS IN SPONSORSHIP WITH PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SPONSORS. THE FESTIVAL IS NORMALLY A THREE DAY EVENT AND FEATURES NEARLY 400 EXHIBITORS WHO SHOWCASE FOOD PRODUCTS, BOOKS, GIFTS, APPAREL AND JEWELRY, ARTS AND CRAFTS, PRODUCE, AND MANY MORE HOME GROWN PRODUCTS FROM AROUND THE 50TH STATE. DUE TO COVID LOCK DOWNS IN FY 2021, THE FESTIVAL WAS HELD ONLINE WITH EXHIBITORS DISPLAYING THEIR PRODUCTS AND CRAFTS ONLINE.


WORKSHOPS AND COMMITTEE ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS AND OTHERS TO MAINTAIN HIGH STANDARDS OF EFFICIENCY AND INTEGRITY IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY. PROVIDE RELATED MATERIALS AND SERVICES. PRODUCE ANNUAL FOOD INDUSTRY CONVENTION. PARTICIPATE IN CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS, PUBLIC MEETINGS FOR INDUSTRY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. CONVENTION WAS NOT HELD IN FISCAL 2020 AND 2021 DUE TO COVID-19.


PUBLISH EDUCATIONAL MAGAZINE WITH INFORMATION RELATIVE TO INDUSTRY UPDATES AND NEW AND REVISED GOVERNMENT LAWS.
