APPROXIMATELY 180 CANOE CLUB MEMBERS TRAINED/PARTICIPATED IN 12 HAWAIIAN RACES & REGATTAS DURING THE YEAR. KAUAI'S NORTH SHORE EXPERIENCED RECORD BREAKING FLOODING ON APRIL 15, 2018. THE CLUBHOUSE SUSTAINED SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE AND SEVERAL CANOES WERE DAMAGED OR SWEPT AWAY. 2018 WAS A CHALLENGING REBUILDING YEAR. THE KAUAI OHANA (FAMILY/COMMUNITY) SHOWED UP IN FULL FORCE TO HELP WITH THE RECOVERY EFFORTS.
CIVIC CLUB MEMBERS PARTICIPATED IN MEETINGS, CONVENTIONS & VARIOUS CULTURAL EVENTS.
