THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE BEST POSSIBLE COMMUNICATION FOR PEOPLE WITH COMPLEX COMMUNICATION NEEDS. THE ORGANIZATION'S VISION IS THAT AUGMENTATIVE AND ALTERNATE COMMUNICATION (AAC) WILL BE RECOGNIZED, VALUED, AND USED THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.

TO PROVIDE REGULAR AAC INFORMATION THROUGH WEBSITE UPDATES AND QUARTERLY PUBLICATIONS.
TO SUPPORT A GLOBAL INFORMATION NETWORK ON AAC INCLUDING THE ORGANIZATION OF AN INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON A BIENNIAL BASIS. THE MOST RECENT CONFERENCE WAS POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19. THE NEXT CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD IN AUGUST 2022 IN CANCUN, MEXICO.
