INCORPORATED IN 1964, BROCK UNIVERSITY HAS CONTINUALLY DEVELOPED RIGOROUS UNDERGRADUATE, GRADUATE, AND DOCTORAL PROGRAMS, INCLUDING EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES AND ONE OF CANADA'S LARGEST CO-OP PROGRAMS. TOTAL STUDENT HEADCOUNT FOR 2021-2022 WAS OVER 19,000 STUDENTS. BROCK HAS 7 ACADEMIC FACULTIES: APPLIED HEALTH SCIENCES, GOODMAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, EDUCATION, HUMANITIES, MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE, SOCIAL SCIENCES, AND GRADUATE STUDIES. BROCK HAS A TOTAL FACULTY OF 600 AND 8 CANADA RESEARCH CHAIRS. BROCK IS A COMPREHENSIVE UNIVERSITY WITH STRONG ACADEMIC PROGRAMMING AND CUTTING EDGE RESEARCH DONE IN WORLD-CLASS FACILITIES. BROCK OFFERS MORE THAN 130 UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE PROGRAMS.


RESEARCHBROCK'S TRANSDISCIPLINARY COMMUNITY-BASED RESEARCH SUPPORTS THE REGION'S EMERGING INDUSTRY CLUSTERS SUCH AS BIOMANUFACTURING, DIGITAL MEDIA, GREEN TECHNOLOGY, AND LIFE SCIENCES. THROUGH THE MAIN RESEARCH INSTITUTES AND CENTRES AT BROCK, WE FOSTER INTELLECTUAL ENVIRONMENTS IN WHICH RESEARCHERS ACROSS DISCIPLINES COMBINE THEIR EXPERTISE TO CREATE NEW FORMS OF INQUIRY AND NEW TYPES OF SOLUTIONS. MOST OF BROCK'S EXTERNAL RESEARCH REVENUE IS FROM THE TRI-COUNCIL (CIHR, NSERC, AND SSHRC).
