CECO HAS BEEN THE CHARITABLE ARM OF THE COUNTY SINCE 1956. CECO SUPPORTS THE COMMUNITY BY WAY OF PROVIDING GRANTS TO LOCAL NON PROFIT AGENCIES AND PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO CURRENT AND RETIRED COUNTY EMPLOYEES WHO ARE EXPERIENCING A FINANCIAL CRISIS.

IN FEBRUARY 2022 CECO APPROVED $110,199.00 IN GRANT FUNDS TO SUPPORT 82 PROGRAMS THAT SERVE SAN DIEGO COUNTY RESIDENTS, 78 ORGANIZATIONS BENEFITED. THE APPROVAL INCLUDED AN ADDITIONAL AWARD AMOUNT OF $9,931 TO CECO'S EMPLOYEE CRISIS FUND WHICH PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO CURRENT AND RETIRED COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO EMPLOYEES WHO ARE EXPERIENCING AN EMERGENCY OR ONE TIME FINANCIAL CRISIS.
