PURCHASE ZAKY HUGS FOR NICU PATIENTS. PROVIDED LAYETTES AND CAR SEATS FOR NEWBORNS WHEN NEEDED ISSUED PREPAID GAS CARDS FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS TO VISIT LONG TERM NICU PATIENTS. PROVIDED A GIFT BOX FOR PARENTS WHO COMPLETE A PARENTING CLASS IN THE NICU. SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED EACH YEAR TO STUDENT VOLUNTEERS PLANNING A CAREER IN MEDICINE. OPERATED A GIFT SHOP FOR THE HOSPITAL WHICH PROVIDES AMENITIES AND GIFTS FOR THE PATIENTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND HOSPITAL ASSOCIATES AS WELL AS PROVIDING FUNDS FROM PROFITS TO THE SICK BABY AND HOSPITAL ASSISTANCE FUNDS.
