THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY MISSION IS TO PROVIDE FOR THE COMMON AREAS OF A MASTER DEVELOPMENT PLAN KNOWN AS PLAYA VISTA, LOCATED IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC. THIS INCLUDES THE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF CERTAIN OWNED AREAS FOR THE PUBLIC'S BENEFIT, TO FUND OBLIGATIONS RELATED TO ENVIRONMENTALLY PROTECTED AREAS, PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION, AND CONTROL THE ARCHITECTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE CONTROLLED AREAS.

THE CAMPUS AT PLAYA VISTA CORPORATION WAS FORMED TO OWN, MAINTAIN, AND MANAGE COMMON AREAS IN ORDER TO PRESERVE THE APPEARANCE OF THE CAMPUS AT PLAYA VISTA. THE COMMON AREAS INCLUDE A LAKE, PARKS, STREETS AND SIDEWALKS. THE CORPORATION ALSO SERVES TO HELP PRESERVE OTHER OPEN PUBLIC SPACES AND CONSERVATION AREAS SUCH AS A LOCAL WETLAND. THE CAMPUS AT PLAYA VISTA COMMUNITY WILL INCLUDE APPROXIMATELY 10,000 EMPLOYEES AND 280,000 ANNUAL VISITORS WHO WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO USE THE ABOVE DEFINED COMMON AREAS.


TO MAINTAIN COMMON AREAS ACCESSED BY COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC, AND TO HELP FUND PRESERVATION AREAS AND WETLANDS ENJOYED BY THE PUBLIC.
