WBC IS A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO FOSTERING THE WELL BEING OF UNDERSERVED AND AT-RISK CHILDREN IN LOS ANGELES THROUGH ITS MEMBERS' COMMITMENT OF THEIR TIME AND FINANCIAL RESOURCES. THE WBC DIRECTLY IMPACTS SMALLER CHARITIES BY PROVIDING GRANTS, HOSTING EVENTS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PROVIDE GRANTS TO SMALLER 501(C)3 ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES. THESE GRANTS ARE TARGETED FOR THE PURCHASE OF CAPITAL ITEMS THAT HAVE A REPETITIVE AND USEFUL LIFE OVER MULTIPLE YEARS.


ANNUAL THANKSGIVING BASKET DINNER GIVE-AWAY, WHERE THE WBC DISTRIBUTES MEALS TO HUNDREDS OF NEEDY FAMILIES IN LOS ANGELES. EACH BASKET FEEDS UP TO 10 PEOPLE, PROVIDING THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE A HOLIDAY MEAL.


HOSTING FIELD TRIPS FOR KIDS IN LOS ANGELES: ANNUAL PILGRIMAGES TO THESANTA MONICA PIER FOR OUR "CHRISTMAS IN MAY" EVENT, THE WBC'S "REACHFOR THE STARS" AT THE GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY, A HOLIDAY MOVIE SCREENINGIN DECEMBER, AND TRIPS TO DODGERS, LAKERS AND CLIPPERS GAMES THROUGHOUTTHE YEAR.
