THIRTY-THREE CLIENTS ATTENDED PLUS AN ADDITIONAL SEVEN PRESENTERS INCLUDING SPEAKERS FROM US EPA REGION 9, LA COUNTY FIRE CUPA, CHP/DOT, CALEPA AND CAL OSHA. THE CALRMA BOARD MEETING COVERED ASSOCIATION BUSINESS, APPROVAL OF 2023 FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND FUTURE ACTIVITIES. THE MAIN GOAL OF CALRMA IN 2023 WAS THE CONTINUED GROWTH OF MEMBERSHIP AND LA/OC CHAPTER ACTIVITIES. FIVE NEW MEMBERS JOINED DURING 2023.LA/ORANGE CHAPTER HELD THEIR 36THANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT ON SEPTEMBER 21, 2023. PROCEEDS FROM THE TOURNAMENT WERE USED TO SPONSOR SCHOLARSHIPS AT RIO HONDO COMMUNITY COLLEGE.THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS UTILIZED E-MAIL AND ZOOM DURING 2023 TO COVER SELECTIVE BUSINESS ACTIVITIES AND MANAGE CALRMA ACTIVITIES.
