TRUST BASE-CAMP IN KORA NATIONAL PARK (KAMPI YA SIMBA) REBUILD AND UPGRADE:- RECONSTRUCTION AND REBUILDING UNDERWAY 2. PARTNERSHIP WITH KENYA WILDLIFE SERVICES (KWS): - MULTIPLE MEETINGS WITH KWS WARDEN KORA AND WITH KWS SENIOR PERSONNEL AT THE HEADQUARTERS;- DONATED A WATER STORAGE TANK TO THE KWS PLATOON AT THE DAMPI YA SIMBA AIRSTRIP.3. PARK INFRASTRUCTURE: - PLANNING OF THE AIRCRAFT HANGERS, CAR PORTS AND RADIO COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT HOUSING BEING INSTALLED AT KYS.- SHARED CAR PARKS BEING STALLED AT KYS.- SOLAR EQUIPMENT FOR THE RAIDO REPEATER IS BEING INTALLED. - DISCUSSION OF THE ORYX RECOVERY. NEW FENCING, BOMAS AND PADDOCKS WILL BE NEEDED.4. COMMUNITY OUTREACH: - EDUCATION INITIATIVES CONTINUE TOGETHER WITH TRUSTS FOR AFRICAN SCHOOLS (TAS) WHO CAME IN TO PROVIDE VALUABLE EDUCATIONAL WORK IN THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES.
