PAUAHI ELDERLY, INC. IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION FORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT STATUTES OF THE STATE OF HAWAII. THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A 48 UNIT COMMUNITY KNOWN AS PAUAHI KUPUNA HALE LOCATED IN HONOLULU, HAWAII, WHICH PROVIDES HOUSING FOR LOW INCOME ELDERLY PERSONS PURSUANT TO SECTION 202 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT, AS AMENDED. ON DECEMBER 20, 2019, THE ORIGINAL MORTGAGE WAS PAID IN FULL USING PROCEEDS FROM THE CB&T NOTE PAYABLE. ON MARCH 28, 2022, THE PROPERTY SOLD TO PAUAHI RHF PARTNERS, LP.PAUAHI ELDERLY, INC. NOW FUNDS THE PROJECT THROUGH A SELLER CARRYBACK LOAN, AND IS THE MAJORITY MEMBER OF PAUAHI RHF MGP, LLC. THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS ENTITY GOING FORWARD WILL BE A FINANCING ARM OF THE LOW INCOME HOUSING PROJECT THROUGH THE NEW PARTNERSHIP.
