EDUCATION PROGRAM:SHI SUPPORTED THE EDUCATION, INCLUDING AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS, OF ABOUT 2,500 CHILDREN BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL AID, CLASSROOM SUPPLIES, AND OTHER LEARNING MATERIALS. SHI ALSO PROVIDED 3 PORTABLE BUILDINGS FOR SCHOOLS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN IMPOVERISHED AREAS.


FOOD AND DEVELOPMENT AID PROGRAM:HUMANITARIAN AID WAS MADE AVAILABLE TO ABOUT 660,000 PEOPLE IN NEED. THE AID INCLUDED BASIC LIFE NECESSITIES SUCH AS FOOD, WATER, CLOTHING, BLANKETS, EMERGENCY SHELTERS, SANDBAGS, AND OTHER NEEDED RESOURCES.


SPIRITUAL SUPPORT PROGRAM:PROVIDED 2 PORTABLE BUILDINGS AND SUPPORT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CHAPELS TO FAITH-BASED PARISHES AND ORGANIZATIONS TO FACILITATE LOCAL SUPPORT OF THE SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS OF COMMUNITIES OUTSIDE THE U.S., ESPECIALLY IN IMPOVERISHED AREAS. THESE FACILITIES WERE USED BY ABOUT 1,200 PEOPLE.


MEDICAL AID PROGRAM:MEDICAL AID WAS PROVIDED TO OVER 28,400 IMPOVERISHED PEOPLE IN MEXICO. THE PROGRAMS INCLUDED FUNDING SERVICES FOR SURGERIES, MEDICATIONS, AND PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE. THE PROGRAMS ADDRESS A WIDE RANGE OF MEDICAL TREATMENTS SUCH AS DENTAL CARE, EYE CARE, INTERNAL MEDICINE, PEDIATRICS, CANCER TREATMENT, RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERIES, AND HOSPICE.
