TO SERVE THE UNIVERSITY, TO INVOLVE UCSB ALUMNI AND STUDENTS IN ITS AFFAIRS AND TO ENLIST ALUMNI TALENTS IN THE PRESERVATION AND PROMOTION OF UCSB'S IMAGE, TRADITION, PRIDE AND STATUS AS A WORLD CLASS UNIVERSITY.

SUPPORT: THE ASSOCIATION IS SET UP AS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SANTA BARBARA, AND MAKES SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE UNIVERSITY, AS WELL AS SUPPPORTING PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES PROMOTING ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT.


MEDIA: THE MEDIA PROGRAM INCLUDES ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WEBSITES, EMAIL MARKETING, COASTLINES MAGAZINE, ONLINE COMMUNITY AND PRODUCTION OF PRINTED MATERIALS. EMAIL MARKETING INCLUDES MONTHLY GAUCHO E-NEWS, REGIONAL EVENTS E-NEWS, QUARTERLY GAUCHO GETAWAYS E-NEWS AND QUARTERLY COASTLINES E-NEWS. COASTLINES IS THE MAGAZINE FOR MEMBERS OF THE UCSB ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AND IS PUBLISHED 4 TIMES A YEAR. IT INCLUDES NEWS AND FEATURES ABOUT UCSB AND ALUMNI. THE PROGRAM PRODUCES BROCHURES, INVITATIONS, EVENT PROGRAMS, AND OTHER PRINTED MATERIALS FOR ALUMNI ASSOCIATION INITIATIVES.
