THE CENTER PROVIDES PSYCHOTHERAPY AND FAMILY COUNSELING FOR PATIENTS WITH ANOREXIA NERVOSA AND BULIMIA, MOST OF WHOM ARE FINANCIALLY UNABLE TO PAY FOR TREATMENT. A SUPPORT GROUP PROGRAM IS ALSO MAINTAINED TO PREVENT RECURRENCE, ONCE THE EATING PROBLEM IS RESOLVED. THE MODALITY MOST USED WITH THESE PATIENTS ARE COGNITIVE THERAPY, BEHAVIORAL THERAPY, SUPPORTIVE THERAPY, AND AT TIMES HYPNOTHERAPY. THE CENTER HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY CLOSED SINCE COVID-19. THEREFORE THERE HASN'T BEEN A WORKING STAFF NOR HAVE PATIENTS BEEN SEEN.
