CSIMS PROMOTES EDUCATION OF MEMBERSHIP TO HELP MEMBERS EXCEL IN PRACTICE AND HELP INJURED WORKERS. THE ORGANIZATION ACCOMPLISHES THIS WITH AN ACTIVE PUBLIC PROGRAM FOR POLICY MAKERS THROUGH LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY REPRESENTATION AND EDUCATION OF MEMBERS.
ANNUAL CSIMS CONVENTION (THE MID-SUMMER SEMINAR) - A MULTI-DAY SEMINAR FOR PHYSICIANS AND OTHERS PRACTICING OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE AS WELL AS HELPING ATTORNEYS, NURSES AND CLAIMS REPRESENTATIVES FOCUS ON NEW EVOLVING ISSUES IN THE TREATMENT AND EVALUATION OF INDUSTRIAL INJURIES.
CSIMS SPONSORS A DISABILITY EVALUATION WRITING COURSE AS A PREP COURSE FOR, AS WELL AS THE PREREQUISITE COURSE TO BECOME A QUALIFIED MEDICAL EVALUATOR, IT IS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE FORENSIC AND REPORT WRITING SKILLS AND EARN CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS.
