THE ORGANIZATION'S YOUTHBUILD PROGRAM OFFERS THE FOLLOWING TO ALL OF ITS PARTICIPANTS: 1) LEADERSHIP AND LIFE SKILLS TRAINING, 2) EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND CURRICULUM TO ATTAIN THEIR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND PREPARE THEM FOR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION, 3) COUNSELING, CASE MANAGEMENT, AND MENTORING SERVICES TO ASSIST ALL PARTICIPANTS WITH OVERCOMING THEIR RESPECTIVE BARRIERS AND ASSIST THEM WITH GOAL SETTING AND GOAL IMPLEMENTATION, 4) PRE-APPRENTICESHIP CONSTRUCTION TRAINING TO PROVIDE SKILLS TO REBUILD THEIR COMMUNITIES, AND 5) JOB READINESS AND WORKPLACE SKILLS TO BUILD EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS AND A STRONG WORK ETHIC.
IN THE ON-SITE CONSTRUCTION TRAINING PROGRAM, ALL PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS ARE OFFERED HANDS-ON CONSTRUCTION TRAINING AT AFFORDABLE HOUSING SITES SPONSORED BY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS INDUSTRY RECOGNIZED CERTIFICATION FOR ENTRY INTO APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS OF THE 16 BUILDING TRADES. ADDITIONAL HANDS-ON TRAINING IS ALSO OFFERED AT AFFORDABLE HOUSING SITES THROUGH THE ORGANIZATION'S PARTICIPATION WITH THE L.A.
