HANDI-DOGS PROVIDES TRAINING FOR BOTH SERVICE DOGS AND PET DOGS. THE SERVICE DOG PROGRAM IS A 12-18 MONTH PROFESSIONALLY GUIDED OWNER-TRAINED PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH A VARIETY OF SUPPORT NEEDS: DIABETES ALERT, HEARING ALERT, MOBILITY ASSISTANCE, PSYCHIATRIC ASSISTANCE, AND SEIZURE REPONSE.PET DOG PROGRAMS INCLUDE PUPPY CLASSES, MANNERS, CONFIDENCE BUILDING, TRICKS, SENIOR DOG ENRICHMENT, AND A FUN HOUR OF GAMES, ACTIVITIES AND OBSTACLE COURSES. ADVANCED TRAINING INCLUDES THERAPY DOG TRAINING AND THE AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZEN (CGC) TEST. PRIVATE LESSONS ARE ALSO OFFERED.
