TO FOSTER THE MOTHER-DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP IN A PHILANTHROPIC ORGANIZATIONCOMMITTED TO COMMUNITY SERVICE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND CULTURALEXPERIENCES, ALSO TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL NON-PROFITORGANIZATIONS.

AWARDING GRANTS TO LOCAL NON-PROFITS: EACH YEAR FOLLOWING THE MAJORFUNDRAISING EVENTS, A COMMITTEEE LED BY THE VP OF PHILANTHRIPIES REVIEWSLETTERS SUBMITTED BY NON-PROFITS REQUESTING FUNDS AND EXPLAINING HOW THEFUNDS WILL BE USED. THE NON-PROFIT MUST BE APPROVED BY MEMBERSHIP. THECOMMITTEE DISCUSSES THE REQUESTS AND MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD OFDIRECTORS. THE DISBURSEMENTS ARE ONLY MADE FOLLOWING A VOTE OF THE GENERALMEMBERSHIP. ADDITIONALLY THE ORGANIZATION SPENDS SOME FUNDS TO PRODUCEITEMS FOR DONATION TO LOCAL NON-PROFITS.


TICKTOCKER CLASS MEETINGS ARE GENERALLY HELD SEPARATELY FOR EACH GRADELEVEL. ANNUALLY THERE ARE ELECTIONS OF OFFICERS FOR EACH CLASS. MEETINGSARE CONDUCTED BY THE CLASS OFFICERS WITH THE ASSITANCE OF AN ADULT ADVISOR.THERE ARE EIGHT REQUIRED MEETINGS PER YEAR. EACH MEETING FULFILLS AREQUIREMENT OF THE NATIONAL CHARITY LEAGUE OF VENTURA COUNTY CHAPTER'S SIXYEAR PLAN IN WHICH THE TICKTOCKERS ARE DEVELOPED THROUGH ANNUAL LEADERSHIPAND ETTIQUETTE TRAINING, A CONVALESCENT VISIT, A SAFETY EDUCATION MEETING,ATTENDANCE AT A CULTURAL EVENT AND A SOCIAL EVENT.


GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING ARE HELD IN ORDER O PROMOTE SOCIALIZATION OFMEMBERS, TO RECOGNIZE SERVICE AND ACHIEVEMENT, PRESENT INFORMATION ANDCONDUCT BUSINESS MEETINGS INCLUDING THE ELECTION AND INSTALLATION OFOFFICERS
