THE PURPOSE OF THE SOLANA BEACH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS TO HIGHLIGHT THE DIVERSE BUSINESS ACTIVITIES IN OUR CITY THROUGH A MULTITUDE OF COMMUNITY-BASED EVENTS AND TO PROMOTE THE CITY TO VISITORS THROUGH THE VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER LOCATED NEAR THE TRAIN STATION.

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OPERATIONS AND EVENTS: BENEFITS THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY THROUGH MONTHLY NETWORKING ACTIVITIES AND SPECIAL EVENETS. THIS INCLUDES POWER NETWORKING LUNCHES, "SHOP SOLANA BEACHX AND LOCAL "BUSINESS EXPO" PROMOTIONS, AS WELL AS A VARIETY OF SPECIAL EVENTS. THE CHAMBER MAINTAINS A WEB PAGE PROMOTING THE CITY AND MEMER'S BUSINESSESTHE CHAMBER OPERATES THE VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER NEAR THE TRAIN STATION TO ALLOW VISITORS TO GET INFORMATION ABOUT LOCAL BUSINESSES AND THE CITY OF SOLANA BEACH.THERE WAS A SIGNIFICANT CURTAILMENT OF ACTIVITIES THIS YEAR DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC.


ANNUAL FIESTA DEL SOL WEEKEND: A COMMUNITY EVENT THAT RAISES OPERATING FUND FOR THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE THROUGH MULTIPLE FOOD AND RETAIL VENDORS, MUSIC, CONTESTS AND ACTIVITIES. IT ATTRACTS TENS OF THOUSANDS OF VISITORS TO THE CITY, AND RAISES THE CITY'S VISIBILITY TO BOTH RESIDENT AND VISITORS.FIESTA DEL SOL WAS CANCELLED THIS YEAR DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC.
