CERTIFICATIONS:NATIONAL COUNCIL OF BUILDING DESIGNER CERTIFICATION (NCBDC) IS A DESIGNATED BODY WITHIN THE INSTITUTE WHOSE SOLE PURPOSE IS TO MAINTAIN AND ADMINISTER THE AIBD NATIONAL CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION. IN ADDITION, THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS IS AVAILABLE TO ALL QUALIFIED BUILDING DESIGNERS REGARDLESS OF THEIR AFFILIATION WITH ANY ASSOCIATION.
CONFERENCES:DURING THE FY 2018-2019, AIBD HOSTED FOUR EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES - (SUMMER) ATLANTA, GA, (FALL) AUSTIN, TX, (WINTER) CLEARWATER, FL, (SPRING) WILMINGTON, NC. ALL OF THE CONFERENCES INCLUDE EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS AND AN ARCHITECTURAL TOUR. THE SUMMER CONFERENCE ALSO INCLUDES CORPORATE MEETINGS (AIBD BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND NCBDC BOARD OF EXAMINERS) AND THE AMERICAN RESIDENTIAL DESIGN AWARDS (ARDA) DINNER.
