CSCF ASPIRES TO STIMULATE CURIOSITY AND INSPIRE SCIENCE LEARNING IN EVERYONE BY CREATING FUN, MEMORABLE EXPERIENCES, BECAUSE WE VALUE SCIENCE AS AN INDISPENSABLE TOOL FOR UNDERSTANDING OUR WORLD, ACCESSIBILITY AND INCLUSIVENESS, AND ENRICHING PEOPLE'S LIVES.THE CALIFORNIA SCIENCE CENTER CLOSED IN MARCH 2020 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. IN MARCH 2021, MUSEUMS IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY WERE GIVEN PERMISSION TO OPEN AT 25% CAPACITY. THE CALIFORNIA SCIENCE CENTER RE-OPENED TO THE PUBLIC ON MARCH 27, 2021, FOLLOWING ALL FEDERAL, STATE, COUNTY, AND CITY SAFETY PROTOCOLS RELATED TO REDUCED CAPACITY, REMOTE WORK, PHYSICAL DISTANCING, AND FACE MASKS. ON JUNE 15, 2021 MUSEUMS IN THE COUNTY WERE GIVEN PERMISSION TO OPEN AT 100% CAPACITY. ATTENDANCE FOR THE YEAR-ENDED JUNE 30, 2021 REFLECTS THE CLOSURE AND CAPACITY RESTRICTIONS.
