INTEGRATED HEALTHCARE EDUCATION: THE MISSION OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES (SCU) IS TO EDUCATE STUDENTS AS COMPETENT, CARING AND SUCCESSFUL PRACTITIONERS OF INTEGRATIVE HEALTHCARE. THE UNIVERSITY IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING EXCELLENCE IN ACADEMICS, SCHOLARSHIP, SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP THROUGH ITS BACHELOR, MASTER, AND DOCTORATE LEVEL PROGRAMS. SCU OFFERS SIX MAIN DEGREE PROGRAMS. 1) DOCTORATE OF CHIROPRACTIC DEGREE (DC), 2) MASTER OF ACUPUNCTURE AND CHINESE MEDICINE (MACM), 3) DOCTORATE OF CHINESE MEDICINE (DACM), 4) BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN HEALTH SCIENCES (BSHS), 5) MASTER OF SCIENCE: PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT, AND 6) MASTER OF SCIENCE IN MEDICAL SCIENCE (MSMS). IN ADDITION TO THESE, SCU OFFERS A CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS IN AYURVEDA, AND AN ACCELERATED SCIENCE PREREQUISITE COMPLETION PROGRAM (AS). IN FALL 2020, THERE WERE 954 STUDENTS ENROLLED IN DEGREE AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS AT SCU IN THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS. 1) 590 IN DC, 2) 0 IN MACM, 3) 47 IN DACM, 4) 10 IN BSHS, 5) 9 IN MASSAGE THERAPY, 6) 93 IN AYURVEDA, 7) 146 IN PA, 8) 14 IN MSMS. ADDITIONALLY, THERE WERE 828 ENROLLMENTS IN AS COURSES DURING FALL 2020. A TOTAL OF 166 DEGREES WERE GRANTED DURING THE YEAR - 96 DOCTORATE DEGREES, 60 MASTER DEGREES, AND 10 BACHELOR DEGREES.
